Students who are eligible to participate in the Erasmus+ study mobility program must follow the workflow determined by our university's International Relations and Academic Cooperation Office by preparing the necessary documents. Detailed information on the subject can be found under the outgoing student menu of the office.
Before and during the Erasmus+ study mobility, students must consult and obtain approval from the department's Erasmus coordinator, Assoc. Prof. Melih Çoban, regarding course selection, course matching, and course changes. Some of the required documents will be prepared jointly by the student and the coordinator.
Upon returning to our country after the end of the study mobility, students must prepare an Academic Recognition Document so that the courses taken at the host institution can be counted toward the Marmara University Sociology Department curriculum and the grades obtained from these courses can be recorded in their transcripts. To prepare this document, please contact the department coordinator following your return.

If any course changes were made during the study mobility at the host institution within the exchange program, the Academic Equivalence Document must be reorganized under the supervision of the department coordinator. If you have made course changes, please contact your department coordinator upon your return.
